The first thing I want you to think about is what is the context? I always, always, always start with the greater context of my launch, not the warmup strategy.
I know I've talked about that a bit on here, but it's a pattern I see a lot, especially in our squiggly creative community.
Maybe you'll plan a workshop and then you'll plan some social posts and you'll just start putting stuff out there with really no greater plan or knowledge of how this is actually moving the needle for your bigger launch plan, right? Like what are you actually working toward? What's the greater context of all the stuff that you're doing? So for me, it always starts with the launch revenue goal.
One, I'm going on maternity leave and a hundred K would give me enough recurring revenue for the next couple of months, along with my existing recurring revenue in my business to really chill and take off and not have to stress.
And also it's just been a milestone in my business for a long time as someone who leads the launch conversation and really walks the talk.
Making a hundred K USD just felt like a big milestone I wanted to cross to really lead in the space.
So it's really amazing and it feels really good to have crossed that threshold.
But so much of it was because of everything I did during the warmup, which I'm gonna take you through today.
That's actually an extension of what I used to recommend for the warmup, but working on so many different people's launches over the last, two plus years.
I'm just seeing a pattern and a shift in the industry where the warmup period is taking longer than ever.
So actually making sure that you are warming up your audience with enough time to Obviously there's no hard and fast rule for this.
