The Warm Up with Kelsey McCormick

This one's for the creative business owners who feel like they've lost their spark a bit. Maybe you’ve taken a break, had a life season shift, or things just aren’t flowing the way they used to. In…
So the first thing I am doing when it comes to jumping back into my business is reconnecting to my vision and goals.
So much of me [laughs] when I wanna come back, I'm just like, "Oh, I just wanna jump right in.
I wanna release the new freebie, and I wanna book out this service, and I wanna start planning this launch." But that would just be chasing my tail and being reactive, right? Because I'm like, "Oh, look, I just need to, like, get a launch out there and make money really quickly," without actually thinking, "Okay, how does this relate to my bigger goal and my bigger vision? How is this actually serving me in the long term, and it isn't just, like, a short-term Band-Aid to, like, get some dopamine sales fix or just feel good for, like, a couple more weeks," right? So before I just jump in and start, like, doing all the things, I really want to just take a step back, get the big picture, say, "Okay, what do I want from now to the end of the year? What goals are my offers and my business servicing? And then what do I want for the next year or two years?" Again, what are those big-picture goals that all of these launches, these promotions, even just, like, showing up on a daily basis, are servicing? Because if they're not servicing a bigger vision and goal, then I'm not gonna wanna stick to it, and it's not gonna be motivating.
It's just gonna be another thing on my to-do list that I'm dreading and avoiding and feeling guilt and shame about.
So instead of doing that and going down this spiral, I really reconnected to my goals, and I journaled around it.
What are some things that I really see myself doing over the next year? One thing I was really called to do that I had a really big vision around was having $1 million offer.
I've done everything from coaching to done-... for you services to done with you serv-- like, you name it.
I've tried everything, and some things have been great, some things haven't.
And then in that process, I was really called to, like, make Launch Your Own Way the thing.
And since really going deep on that about a year ago, being like, "Okay, I'm just gonna, like, retire all my other offers, go really deep on launching," my business has just bloomed.
