something we all need, no matter how much trouble it causes us.

Being without love is like missing an arm.

You feel its absence like a phantom limb, long to use it, and are eternally frustrated when you can't.

The absence of love can drive otherwise reasonable people to extremes.

They'll lie, steal, and cheat.
