Yes, I'm up on the skill of the week, and this week we are thinking about 10 random ideas that will help your team in match play, okay?
They're not random as far as they're not re- they're just not related to each other, okay, these things.
So, but these are more, like, uh, concepts that I really think if, I really think if more high school teams applied, I think they could win more points.
100%, and some of these are, uh, things we've talked about on the pod before, and some of these things are kinda like low-hanging fruit.
But also these are just kind of like ideas for coaches to think about that I think, I think they would appreciate.
So the first one is this idea that a lot of times your middles are your most efficient hitters, right?
But a lot of times that's because we're using them in this like ideal situation, right? Where it's perfect pass and we're-
... free ball, we're running them a quick, and they're, they're gonna be efficient in that.
But if they're truly your best hitter, and they can score, we want to get them the ball more often.
And so the first idea is let's have a plan for how to get our middles the ball when the dig is not perfect.
Right? As the level goes up, the digs are not perfect, right? And so a lot of times we're just waiting and waiting and waiting till that dig is perfect to run our middle, but then it's a predictor that the dig is perfect, and then you get four hands in front of you or whatever.
So when the dig is on the 10-foot line, can we run our middle? And I don't mean necessarily on a quick.
