Great question from KBC client this week asking: how to get snacking under control without going cold turkey. Here's our answer, covering: 🚪 Why moving snacks to a harder-to-reach cupboard actually…

Frank SinclairHostSo this question, the actual question was, "How do I get on top of my snacking?" So my question to that was, "What do you mean by on top of?" And when we dug a little bit deeper, it was, "How do I reduce snacking, um, make improvements to my snacking so that it's not hampering my weight loss efforts?" 'Cause it was the snacking that was keeping this person in more of a maintenance and sometimes surplus of calories, even though their main meals were really well-balanced.
There was a lot of m- meal prep going on, a lot of organization, a lot of thought.

You're obviously doing all the things you normally do, helping this person navigate everything, exercise, habits, food.

Number one is, do we need snacks, KBC? Is snacking essential for us? I would ask, firstly, do you snack? Are you a snacker?
So I'm, I'm quite like this person, as in I'm really good at putting together a main meal, um, but I have to be...
My mindfulness needs to be placed around my snacking, and I've found that I can train myself to not bother with them.
But I have to be mindful of that, 'cause, yeah, I, I like, I like a little snacky snack.

And I tell you what, if you ask my kids about snacks, I feel like they are the princesses, queens of snacks.
