HOLLYWOOD ARTS: Daniella Monet

You know what? A girl could dream.

I didn't think it could actually happen.

Yeah.

But you know what? I've always said since day one, I've been like, I'm going to dream big.

And this is what I would call big.

Especially the spinoff end.

We've seen the revisiting to these series.

I know what they did with iCarly.

But this is something wholly different.

This is a spinoff of a character.

You would have thought this would have happened way back during the show's heyday.

What network is the show going to be airing on? I'm trying to find right now.

Is it Netflix?

It is Netflix.

Yes.

And I love that you acknowledge that it's a spinoff because it does sort of separate it in a small bit.

It takes a tiny bit of the pressure off, at least I'd say.

In what sense? You're carrying the whole damn thing now.

You used to just come in looking adorable, lob a nice little funny, you know, zinger, and then the heavy lifting was Victoria, you know, Victoria Justice.

If

not, you

know, Ariana Grande was in the mix.

Now it's all on you, and you're feeling that the weight is lifted?

You know what? In a sense of when we revisited the idea of this being a reality, I remember thinking, wow, a reboot, like, How do you recreate something as special as Victorious? And then I started spinning it in my own head and I was like, this isn't a reboot.

This is simply a spinoff.
