**In healthcare, every second at a workstation matters. But who's actually measuring the time between a badge tap and a clinician being ready to work?** This session explores **Tap to App** — a…
So what we're doing at ControlUp here is – One of the challenges when you're talking about healthcare especially, but large organizations, is that teams will be siloed.
You'll have your desktop team on another end.
You'll have your hypervisor team over here and so on and so forth.
All these different teams.
And they kind of work together in their own little realm.
And then they kind of, you know, attach to each other in various ways.
But it becomes a challenge when you're trying to measure something that spans across multiple departments.
Right.
So if you're a doctor, your experience is on the endpoint and on the virtualization side.
Right.
You're interacting with the endpoint.
It's connecting into infrastructure and so on and so forth.
When we talk about tap-to-app, what we're trying to do is we're trying to measure the clinician's experience across all of these technologies.
And so one of the ways that we can do that at ControlUp is we have software that can exist on both the physical endpoint and on the VDI side.
And because we can see across these two domains, we can bring our data together.
And that's what we've produced here with tap-to-app.
So what we're doing is we're actually tracking when the badge tap occurs on the desktop side and when the clinician is completely ready to be productive on the VDI side.
So what we're looking at here is two different displays.
On the left side, we've got all the login metrics that have occurred in this environment.
And on the right, we've got all the reconnect metrics.
