Jacob SpoonleyHostErik PaartaluGuestOf course, Auckland FC against Sydney FC, um, pitting Steve Corica against his former club.
Now, I think you could almost make a, a, a very strong case to suggest that he is the best A-League coach in history.
Is he the best that the A-League has produced in terms of a manager?

I think he absolutely is in terms of the investment that he's put back into the league.
Yeah
Mm.
Yeah.

Um, Steve Corica very firmly entrenched into that, that group of managers that are now being very ambitious.

And those are, those are managers that have, at least in some part, been made by the A-League.And I think that's a really cool reflection, so that not only Steve Corica played in the A-League, and obviously scored in the grand final, the first grand final-
Yeah

And if there's one concern I do have, uh, at the moment from a New Zealand perspective is that we haven't contributed to that aspect of the A-League.

We haven't had a coach that's gone on and coached at that kind of that sharp end, the playoffs and then the final.
Oh, funny you say that, because I'm wondering, Ify, if because of Steve Corica's success we might not see him next season.
And so is it a case of come on down Danny Hay? And he's been there the whole time Steve has, working underneath the A-League's greatest head coach.
So maybe it's time for Danny Hay to step up.
Yeah, look, I, I don't think we need to go too early here.
