Alone in the Dark - Fool's Gelt Episode 7

With our business in the Canis Cluster concluded, the Fool's Gelt braced for warp travel on a course for White Tooth's fleet.

Nazgarb convinced me that he was up to the task of playing negotiator in hopes of grabbing some supplies, manpower, and perhaps even an alliance with White Tooth's fleet to aid us in our completion of Operation Lighthouse.

Though we did experience some warp turbulence due to Gloria Victorum Nocturi's unease and inexperience aboard the Fool's Gelt, it soon dissipated with the help of Jerechas.

We arrived at White Tooth's flagship, Da Fist Over Fist, and docked.

From this point, I let Nazgarb do most of the talking, which proceeded well until some, uh, Goths from Redmaw's Reign took umbrage with our intentions to liberate the mining operation on Lustav.

A test of mettle was called for by White Tooth, which saw us handily dispatching Redmaw's forces in a game of Planetary Governor of the Hill.

Not only did our success earn us White Tooth's respect, but we left his flagship with quite a few boons, including an enigmatic Orkoid devi- device simply referred to as Da Stimmy.

Redmaw's fleet, looking to get back at us for our victory over them, attempted a retaliatory strike with their assembled armada, but we were quicker than them and managed to warp to safety.
