So you, how did you start with...

Like, how did you get momentum going with clients? I think I know the answer to this, but I could be wrong, so-

[chuckles]

How did, how did you get the ball rolling?

I think, one, we had a good network of friends and family-

Yeah

... that, and a lot of people start in that arena, and they have friends and family that got pulled in initially.

And then from there, like most people in this business, referrals.

Heavy referrals.

Not-

Yeah

...

John and I don't think we've had one cold-

Yeah

... come in.

It's all been referrals, so.

It-- Yeah, it's all been referrals.

Um, big leverage in our, our network, yeah.

Go ahead.

But the-

And we've gotten some great clients too through referrals from, you know, not just friends and family, from other people in the industry who we've met, and I think that's a valuable tip to really make sure that you're putting yourself out there and meeting people, whether it's other advisors.

Um, we've gotten referrals from other advisors who didn't have the bandwidth and said, "Hey-

Right

... are you interested in this?" And now those clients are coming back, and they're referring more people.

So it's like, you know, you give me one referral and, and I'm gonna use it [chuckles] to, to build some momentum.
