Andy CroftsHostYeah, well, as you said, I was living in Brighton at the time.
It was a little two-bedroom terrace house, nothing particularly unusual about it.
It was in a fairly quiet residential street and I'd been there for about six months before anything really started happening.
Did you
Yeah, yeah.
Before... quite happy there yeah yeah no it was really nice um yeah it was quite peaceful just me and my cat Molly um she's a little black and white cat quite independent she was used to having the house to herself during the day because I worked um I remember being quite happy there actually it wasn't a particularly old house or at least not old enough for me to think that there was you know anything strange um about it and it was yeah just somewhere to live really i

mean did you have any interest in the paranormal world or anything to do with that stuff like previously
Er, not really.
No, I mean, you know, like everyone, I don't mind, like, the odd horror movie, but...
No, not really.
It's never really been something I've sort of delved into much, to be honest.
No.
But, so, yeah, basically, it was just somewhere to live, and then, well, the first thing I noticed was probably the noise.
Yeah.
So little things really.
That's what made it difficult to explain because none of it was particularly frightening to begin with.
So like I'd hear sort of tapping from downstairs.
Yeah, I mean, it was usually in the evening.
Sometimes it sounded like somebody knocking gently on a door.
And then other times it was more like something being moved across a hard floor.
