something the Bible caught my attention recently and I just thought to share it on the podcast now I was reading the book of Genesis Genesis chapter 3 and I was reading the story of the fall of man and I want to read two verses two verses in genesis chapter three now they are not um two verses that follow each other they are pretty separate verses so one verse i'm going to read in is genesis chapter 3 verse 7 and then i'm going to jump all the way to genesis chapter 3 verse 21. and reading it the spirit kind of ministered something to me and i want us to listen closely because a lot of times we have something called over familiarization over exposure to some of the stories in the bible that we do not we do not hear or read the details anymore we do not appreciate the details and reading this scripture which is very popular it's not my first time reading it not my second time not my third time i've read it several times but then reading it today something came alive to me so i'm going to read genesis chapter 3 verse 7 and i'm going to give some context to the verse i'm going to read right now in this chapter 3 in genesis chapter 3 god had created man, he had placed him in the garden, and he had given him all the instructions.

Genesis chapter 3 details man's sin of disobedience and eating the fruit that he was asked not to eat.

So the deception from the serpent.

And it says here that after man had eaten it, Adam and Eve had eaten it, they realized they were naked.

And it says in verse 7, At that moment their eyes were opened and they suddenly felt shame at their nakedness.

So they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.

That's what verse 7 says.

It says, At the moment they ate the fruit, they realized they were naked and they felt the shame of nakedness and then they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves.

Now, I'm not going to read what's in between 7 and verse 21, but I'm not going to go straight to 21.

And verse 21 says, And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife.

That's very important.

That detail in that one verse is very important.
