I think, that we share across the whole system, so the wider network as well as the family.

I, I feel like in some ways w- when I'm listening to you speak, because I've had the privilege of reading this paper about the school, I'm connecting it to, um, the values-
Yeah

Because I'm hearing, you know, when you're trying to tune in to parents and taking time to build those relationships, the sort of a- active warmth, the respectful curiosity, um, you know, engendered trust in some ways.

And, and I'm just wondering, maybe it'd be nice to hear a little bit more actually from you a- about those values and what that means and what that might look like in the school.

So active warmth, I think, uh, this is something that we've worked really hard on as a kind of whole school to bring through in our culture.

And a- again, we do it by really being careful about how, about our language and, um, and what we're framing.

And our families, you know, often come to us, um, uh, being used to hearing particular stories about their child, you know, waiting for that phone call with a lot of focus on, um, uh, what's going wrong.

And often the, what's going wrong has been the dominant story that families experience on their way to us.

And so when we're thinking about active warmth, what we're really thinking about is how are we allowing space for different kind of stories to emerge and, and take up room.

And I think we allow m- we, you know, as a culture within the school, the parents are very much part of, it's not kind of us as a school-

It collectively in, in enough of us here kind of pull towards a focus on warmth with how we speak, with how we set, um, expectations.

And, and that, is that, uh, which, is that how you'd say it kind of comes through, Laura? We've really worked hard as a group-

... to be careful about, um, how we tell, how we use language, how we tell stories.

I think it, I think it comes through actually at every level in, in a way that-
