Mystics Give Fans Appreciation After Coming Back from 20-Point Deficit to Take Win over Wings

I don't normally make an opening statement, but I just want to thank our fans in D.C. and everyone who comes out.

They really stuck with us.

We've felt the love from the first day I've gotten here and our staff and our players, and today especially where we didn't start off that great, and yet our fans just stuck with us, stuck with us, and really were a big part of not only this win, but our experience in general.

So I just wanted to thank D.C., we love you, we love you, we feel the love, and just super excited that you're with us.

Yeah, I mean, this city, obviously, it embraces everyone who comes through, but really just people who, I think, play the right way, play, you know, With competitiveness, with energy, and really just entertainment.

At the end of the day, that's what we're here to do, is entertain and win.

And I think our community has just rallied behind us.

And even though we have a little smaller unit out there, I think they show up big for us.

I think just in that moment, you can tell that they bought into us and we wouldn't be able to do it without them too.

that, I feel like also just how they support us and how much they love us.

We have to go out there and kind of give back.

So that was our way of giving back.

I feel like us being aggressive, keeping the energy alive, I feel like that's our way of giving back, and mine especially.
