Meet Joint (Kat), Frog (Tom), Sexy Dan (Jessie), and Chipper (Brian) as our fearless Gaykeeper (Leah) leads us into a labyrinth of experimentation and grief - and, in true Gaykeeper form, gross…
We begin our evening on a small shuttle vessel hurling itself through space, just about to arrive at its destination.
Aboard this small shuttle we have a team of reapers.
This team has been together for about three years now.
Their bonds have been forged through battle, maybe love, passion, who knows? But unfortunately, this team, devastatingly, was a part of the assassination or coup attempt on the council.
They were part of the security.
It should've been another normal day, but as we all know from the news, the Jesuits attacked the council, and this team barely made it out alive.
Two of them actually didn't.
As four of them sit on the shuttle, they were a team of six.
One comrade that they lost was one of their lieutenants, Jack Boise.
He was a sizeable man, extremely strong, and knew how to operate almost any piece of machinery.
The other comrade fallen was their communications officer, Odette Maxwell.
Boy, she could read any line of code.
She could get any message out.
She could get through any computer.
She read between the lines.
Briefly whisked away from the council, barely escaping with their lives, they're gathered up by one of their commanding officers and they were told b- they were being flown out to Polaris.
Ooh.
The North Star.
Aboard one of the larger vessels.
They thought they would land there, but before entering orbit they were told to enter the shuttle, and that they were going to a new naval facility to upgrade their cerebral cortex for their implants to perhaps better help the future attacks of Jesuits or other terrorists, and that's all they know.
So just about to arrive at this new naval facility, we have sitting here...
Brian, introduce your character.
Well, uh, I'm Sergeant Everett Scout, uh, but my call sign is Chipper, uh, 'cause I'm usually pretty happy.
I kinda just go along with, you know, whatever the team thinks, uh, you know, whatever, whatever the general consensus is.
I don't really have a lot of strong opinions.
