**In this inspiring bonus episode of The Space Between Two Lines, host Alex Saunders sits down with Josh, a builder from Brisbane (originally from Canberra), who recently completed a grueling 53km…
Alex SaundersHosthow you doing?

I'm really excited to talk to you because you have done some amazing work in the fertility world in raising awareness around fertility and fertility support.

And I guess the financial burden it can place on families, individuals going through it.

So I'd love to hear first and foremost, like what you've achieved and a little bit about the work you've been doing.
Yeah, fantastic.
Thanks for having me.
So I joined up for the 50, it ended up being 53 and a bit kilometers.
Signed up for a 52 kilometer event and had to run a little bit extra to get there, which was really, really good.
I had some really nice experiences.
support from some friends that come up.
So we wanted to do that just to kind of use it as the vehicle to raise a bit of awareness around low cost IVF treatment, which in Brisbane and I think Sydney and some of the bigger states, it's a bit more accessible.
So we paid a full freight clinic.
We had an amazing experience.
The doctors were amazing.
Everyone did such a great job and I wouldn't change that, but it's nice to know these places exist and kind of bring it to the forefront that more people can probably access IVF if they kind of do a little bit more research.
We've raised about just shy of $13,000, about 13 grand.
