Episode 89 - 45 Colt Bullet Choices

So what we're going to talk about is...

That's kind of what my interest for the week is.

I'm kind of down a little bit of a rabbit hole.

So about a week ago here, the Pierce Brothers Gear Review on YouTube put out a four-piece video series called Why I Love the 45 Colt.

And Joe, Jacob, Porter, and then their dad, Brian Pierce, all put out a video on why they love the 45 Colt.

And I watched those videos, and I haven't touched any of my 45 Colts in quite a while.

And it kind of re-sparked my ambition to play with 45 Colts.

So that's what I've been doing this week.

Now, if you guys don't know who Brian Pierce is, Brian Pierce is one of the main writers for Hand Loaded Magazine.

He took over for Ken Waters, so he writes the pet load section, and he had a couple other sections in that magazine.

He's a big deal in the reloading world, gun writer, probably my favorite living gun writer.

Really knowledgeable guy, super into six guns and all the same kind of stuff that I love.

And his boys, they started the YouTube channel there about a year ago now, a year and a half ago.

And then Brian joined up while we were on there.

So if you guys don't follow them on YouTube, you should.

It's a really great YouTube channel.

All kinds of six-gun, 11-gun content.

It's just a really great channel.

Now, I talked to Joe recently.

Me and Joe are friends, and I sent Joe a text, and I was like, hey, man, that was a great video series.

You got me wanting to do my own Why I Love 45 Colt video.

And he said, go ahead.

So sometime this week, we're going to take all of my 45 Colts out to the range, and we're going to shoot them, and we're going to talk about why I love the 45 Colt.

But today, we're just going to talk about .45 Colt bullet choices.
