What did that look like? It was kind of really chaotic already with my mom before she was killed.
She was doing her best.
She was working really, really hard.
And unfortunately, she was working on getting custody of her other kids and it was just her and I.
And so we're in a little apartment for a little bit.
I don't really remember that part, but then she had had a boyfriend.
We lived with him for a little while and he was abusing me when she would go to work.
And so when she found out, I mean...
She was she was livid, you know, and I remember that.
And so I remember her coming home and she had seen it happening.
And are we talking about physical abuse or sexual sexual abuse? Her partner at the time would sexually abuse me when she'd go to work and she.
had come home and figured out it had happened.
And she immediately started yelling.
She started grabbing clothes and just throwing clothes in a laundry basket.
And there was shouting.
I remember being like this really sick feeling like I had done something wrong, you know, of course.
And I was like afraid I was going to be in trouble.
And I would have been probably about three at the time.
