Paul BegleyGuestAndrew MuellerGuestHe says presidents have known the strategic importance of Greenland, but none of them were able to do anything about it.
I am proud to be the president that permanently and conclusively addressed this very important situation.
We are very honored and proud of what has just taken place and everything agreed to today will be cherished by the American people.
We will immediately begin the process of developing a large military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland, of which there are many, says Trump.
We look forward to working with the wonderful people of Denmark and Greenland for a magnificent future with respect to this large and highly strategic parcel of land.
This is a dream come true for the United States of America and one that is very important, historic and special.
And the thing that I have been following with respect to Greenland, you know, I understand from a strategic and security perspective why the president would want to be in Greenland, why he would want to have a military presence there so that the communist Chinese, the Russians cannot use it against the United States.
And that is if you go back and look at the old technocrat maps, the North American technate maps, as they called it, was supposed to include all the way down to Venezuela and all the way up to Greenland.
And, you know, do I think Donald Trump is secretly conspiring to build a technocracy and merge the United States into a North American tech? Probably not.
But there are an awful lot of coincidences, if you want to call them that, with respect to all of this, right? All these maps that the president's been putting up with Canada and Mexico colored in with the American flag.
Actually, when you told me this, I was like, what? Really? That's interesting because you actually spent some time looking at this agreement.
