Putting yourself on a pedestal.
What brings up this idea is my realization and my reflection on the limitless event, they call it the biggest sales and marketing summit of Canada.
And it was crazy.
It was all day, speakers, panels, activities, booths, like everything.
It was my first experience like that ever.
And I loved it.
And I want to be in more rooms like that and conferences.
And I see myself with these people.
Wow, I kind of just contradicted myself with saying these people.
Because today's topic is putting yourself on a pedestal, not other people around you.
My biggest lesson from that day was that there is no difference between me sitting in the stands and that man or woman on the stage talking to everybody.
and speaking about their experiences and their successes and their skills, there's no difference.
We are all human.
At the end of the day, they have doubts.
They have insecurities.
We are all human and we all have human traits.
I never felt so inspired and motivated to learn sales and the skills of sales and how far it can get you in life after that event or during it, I mean.
The speakers were incredible.
There was Tatiana Landono, Tyler McClay, the Durranis, Daniel Gee.
Daniel Gee had an amazing time.
He went all like so over his time for his speech.
He was teaching us so much and was very interactive.
We tend to put these kinds of people on pedestals automatically.
Why? Because they have more money.
Because they have a big network.
