Welcome back to the Best of the Run Home, and the NRL news never sleeps, does it? Well, here's some more.

Let's start with the Panthers captain, Isaiah Yo, the Australian Kangaroos captain.

We'll catch up with the Australian Kangaroos coach in the final hour of the program.

But Isaiah Yo's contract extension, this via the Daily Telegraph, uh, his extension with Penrith has been temporarily delayed while the NRL's salary cap auditor reviews a proposed post-playing role with the club.

So the playing component of Yo's new three-year deal is effectively agreed upon, but the NRL is examining the off-field employment arrangement to ensure it meets fair market value rules and doesn't circumvent the salary cap.

Penrith remains confident Yo will stay, with the deal expected to run through to the end of the 2030 season via the Daily Telegraph.

I found- I find this strange that this is even, like, we're going through this process.

I guess, because, uh, I know that he had, uh, he, he always had ambitions to get into coaching.
