Welcome back to our fourth podcast, which is really pathetic.

You know, every day I delay doing a podcast makes me realize kind of like what a douche I really am.

Like, I should be doing podcasts virtually every day.

Number one, I'm good at them.

Number two, there's always something interesting to talk about in this sport.

I mean, it never ends, but... you know, I get a little parasoso and borracho and loco.

And so I get a little lazy.

But this is a great, this is a great thing for me because we're going to talk about a topic, but more important than the topic, even though she will disagree, is our guest today.

And her name is Tina Roberts.

And what's great about her, as far as I can tell, other than everything is that she is the owner of ragtime and ragtime, just one class in the pack cup, um, to the surprise of many, but including Tina, by the way, but if you followed the race at all, which I did like religiously, cause I had a couple of bros, um, on ragtime um i i absolutely followed every day and the thing is they were in pretty good position most all of the race a lot of elements a lot of different boats disparate boats i mean you go from zeus you know the uh the weird odd foiler boat that just absolutely kicked ass just in terms of you know elapsed time and just how fast the thing was for a 52 footer all the way to ragtime you know the 1962 classic that has been around for ever seemingly and has raced every race seemingly and has had a number of owners who have put the boat through different you know versions modifications etc but under tina's stewardship she's done i think what all of us would have donned to ragtime like you want to keep the essence of the boat oh my god you couldn't possibly touch anything about the hull it's just sexy and beautiful and and never not interesting from almost every angle, at least from the outside.

And then you would look at the rig, and you'd look at the sale plan, and you'd look at the electronics, you'd look about all the things, you know, like a resto mod would be.

You know, you got that 57 Chevy, and sure, you like it, but I got to put the big, giant V8 in it, and, you know, I got to do this, and I got to do that, and I got to do that.

It's still a 57 Chevy.

It's just like, oh, yeah, those are some of the things you might do to it.

And Tina has done that and just successfully won the frigging pack up, which is just so cool.
