hey welcome to an episode of the retro nostalgia podcast i'm chad
i'm christina
and this is terminator 2 judgment day
we didn't just watch this we watched this old school
yeah we experienced it at the movie theater yeah the 35th anniversary
Yeah, the movie theaters are showing old movies a lot.
So for $18 a seat, you can go too.
Yeah.
But this is how it's meant to be viewed, I feel like.
It's funny because, so we went to a mall near here and you just like walked in.
Like nobody, it's not like when you go to a concert or a game where they, like you don't get a physical ticket anymore.
You just get like a QR code on your phone.
Yeah.
But you didn't have to like, scan it or show it to anybody.
So we just walked in and like, I was kind of annoyed.
I was like, we just saw this for free.
I just walked in.
Yeah.
And I was walking around going,
like nobody's gonna
like scan my qr code or anything so yeah you can just just walk in i guess cameras everywhere i don't know
yeah but still like there we we just walked in movie
theaters on the honor system in 2026 you know interesting it's like
those like amazon stores where you just pick whatever you want off the shelf and walk out
yeah and we could have there were it was like a crowded theater on a tuesday night
yeah
I guess they're all showing at 7 p.m. right now.
It was a
relatively small theater, but it was like the stadium seatings with like reclining like Barca lounger chairs.
Yeah,
like one set of people per row.
So it was very, very empty.
What was that? All
right.
