So one of the biggest questions we get asked is, you know, what are the, what are the best companies doing right now to retain their best performers?

So I think really there's probably three main pillars that companies do well, and that's what really retains the right staff.

So there's the financial side obviously, which is salary and clear commi- commission.

[laughs] Not having to use a calculator and sit there for hours trying to figure out what you're gonna l- earn in the next month, or two months, or three months.

Um, and also then the flexibility piece, that's obviously, since COVID, that's really shifted.

Some companies, it depends on what level they're bringing in, then you need to be in the office more.

But I think if somebody's experienced, got their feet on the ground, know their market, if they need to go back into the office five days a week, then it sh- doesn't make a lot of sense.

Um, and then that, those hygiene factors, so it's the security piece, that's a big, big plus at the moment, isn't it? Especially what's going on in the world.

Um, we were at a woman in recruitment leadership event recently, and we were sat with Alison Humphries of Pro Recruitment and also Emma of White Label.

And what was really apparent from, after speaking with those two, um, obviously founders and, um, directors, that they really look after their staff.

And it's obviously, it's clear because they're, they have a, the, people don't leave.

And they, what, by doing that, what they do is they just ask them, "What more do you need? What do you want from us?" And just asking people what they actually want out of their career, out of, out of the environment, that is just showing that people get their say.
