Juicy GarlandGuestErith AnsolGuestAnd so we left out, we left off just about to dive into downtime.
Uh, so downtime in this game has a couple, uh, pieces to it where you're gonna tell me y- what action you are intending to take.
Uh, there are a couple actions that you can take that are, uh, ch- ch-, that are going to impact the session.
So one, there's three different options that you need to achieve during the session, and then there are some options that open up new locations, new factions, new contacts.
Um, and then there are some others that are kind of, you know, maintenance in case you need to get your, your pulse up, your chaos down, et cetera.
Uh, and those are also really important.
Um, so I'm going to ask my collection of sad gay vampires to tell me, and I'll read off the, the options really quickly for everybody.
Uh, so the three quest actions that would be happening during the session are deepen with a bond, uh, find a passion, or seek some new power.
You have social actions, which include meet someone new and investigate a location.
Those unlock contacts and/or factions.
And then you have chaos and pulse actions.
So you can lie low, reducing your chaos.
You can live as immortal, increasing your pulse.
You can indulge your passion, which increases pulse and chaos.
Hooray.
Uh, and if you had a bond, you could spend time with your bond.
Um, one thing before we fully jump into the game, um, from listening to episode one, uh, my understanding of the rules was decent but was lacking in certain spots, so we are fixing that in this session.
Um, so if you hear some things like, "Eric didn't do that last time," it's because I was wrong.
Um, so we will, moving forward, uh, one thing I said last time is that I thought there was a cap on pulse and chaos.
That is not true.
It can go as high as the players would like it.
Um, the problem with high chaos means more consequences.
And the more, the higher the chaos, the more feral you should be playing your character.
So just keep those in mind as we move along.
