Week 29 and the reality that I’m actually having another baby is starting to sink in. Nesting has officially begun, baby is moving nonstop, and I’m starting to feel a major shift in what my body needs…

You know, in all reality, I- I kind of record these episodes, um, a week ahead of time, so I'm, like, kind of looking back at e- week 29 from week 30, which is why I'm talking about week 29 in the past.

Um, so [chuckles] I- I just will let you know, uh, pushing a running stroller when you have SI joint pain, really not compatible, and I talked to my PT about it, and he was like, "I mean, you could try doing this differently, or you can just avoid the running stroller." And so I think I'm gonna just avoid the running stroller for the rest of pregnancy.

And potentially, um, you know, hopefully by the time I'm postpartum and start running again, this SI inflammation will be less severe.

Um, I'm just really hoping with, um, [smacks lips] like, relaxin will still be present 'cause I'll be hopefully nursing.

But, um, it'll be less 'cause I will have given birth, and the relaxin hormone is that hormone that kinda keeps everything loosey-goosey, um, those joints and we...

You know, I- I think that's part of what's going on here with this inflammation.

I think in terms of, um, [smacks lips] you know, PT for working through this SI stuff, it's been really interesting because...

Everyone's reasons that they are feeling weakness is different, so just because this is working for me doesn't mean it'll work for you.

But I'll just share it, is really trying to engage my lats and, um, my core [chuckles] as best I can with this big belly.

Um, and really trying to feel, um, tension in my glutes when I am, um, squatting or running has really made a big difference in, um, me leaving the activity pain-free.

And it can be really hard because I've been running and squatting a certain way for, like, since I was fricking, what? 13, 14 years old.

Um, so it's a, it's a kind of a really hard [chuckles] um, thing to remember and work on, but, um, it's definitely worth it.
