I think people love that story because, one, like, I try not to always use the term liberal in a derogatory term, but I think you know where I'm coming from on that.
Like, they're always really into, like, symbolism things.
Like, you'd see a lot of liberal pundits being very upset about, like, the – you know a reworking of the white house to put in the ballroom and they're like look at what they've done to our building it's like i don't know like i kind of care about some bigger things but i like it like the reflecting pool thing i i am on board with them a lot more on like eat up all the stories and things of that nature because it's just such a it's such a microcosm of just how absurd everything is and like you can look at it for a second and not like think about complete human rights violations and depravity you just think about like some I mean it is so bad but I just had the image the other day of like some poor tourist doesn't really understand you know coming in from from halfway

a little he's a little bubbly like a paint ship picks it up and then gets like escorted away by the National Guard and it's like idiocracy was way too mild you know it's like the like i don't want to like i'm not saying because that is terrible but it's like yeah it's like if it was in a movie it'd be so hilarious and like it wouldn't work in a political satire because it's too over the top you know what i mean a
hundred percent a hundred percent i i think it's so fucking goofy and it's like it's a very strong like visual and situational metaphor for everything else too which i think liberals love shit like that as well when they're like it's It's a metaphor for the whole administration.
