Uh, so I'd already applied, but it, it'd also been, uh, perhaps in, always in the back of my mind, a, a grandmother that was a nurse, and she'd already talked to me about her experiences of, of working and living in London, and I knew then after the experience of being a volunteer carer that it was the right decision, and I then went off to, to start my nurse training a few months later.
But I also, because I was late applying, I had to go where the places were, and I, and I just took myself off to, yeah, a place that had, um, vacancies, and, and off I went.
I think it's something that actually I think you have an element of that within you anyway.
I think that the kind of person I was when I started my training and I am now, I, I was emotionally intelligent.
I had empathy.
I cared.
I'll never forget it.
I'll never forget that moment.
