Ob- obviously we're, we're, we're talking about, um, you know, a, a serious potential consequence of playing a sport that, that millions of people, um, across, across the US and Canada and, and the world as well, um, millions of people play, including children, that they, they absolutely love.
You know, you, uh, you know, you think of especially up in Canada, you know, kids are on skates as soon as they can walk.
Um, you know, based on what we know today, i- is there anything that you think hockey should be doing differently? Do you think that the way that hockey's being approached is...
Do you think that they're taking appropriate precautions? Is there anything that you would change in terms of equipment, rules, et cetera?

I think, you know, on the whole, I think some of the changes have been pretty positive thus far.

You know, some of the things that the, that, you know, uh, have been done over the last couple decades, I, I think have been good, um, especially the, the checking stuff at a young age, you know, increasing the age at which kids start checking.

I guess it's a, it's a little bit of a complicated, right, it's a multifaceted, uh, topic, like the-
Mm

But, um, generally speaking, I think some of the changes have been sound, you know.

Um, I think, uh, broadly speaking, you know, it, it would probably be good if the NHL would, you know, acknowledge that there is, might be a link, you know.

Um, and, and once that's out in the open, this was something that the NFL, uh, the, the National Football League was reluctant to do for a long time until-
Yeah
Yeah

Um, but yeah, the interesting thing is I, I, I really do think that a lot of the changes that have been made are, you know, logical.
Yeah.
I think that, um, I, I think you're absolutely right in the aspect of, of kind of acknowledgement from, from the NHL, and, and hopefully that's kind of something that we move more towards.
