S1 E62: Drafts, Deals and Legacies ft. RYAN MCGREGOR

Obviously, the regular season came to a close and we had the playoffs and we had the cup final.

Carolina taking the cup home.

I've absolutely loved seeing all of the Carolina content over the last week or so.

I think the best team deserved to win.

But yeah, what were your thoughts on the cup final as a whole? Were you happy with the outcome?

Yeah, I mean, like most people, I was leaning Carolina, so I'm happy to see them win.

They deserve it.

They've been so good for so long, and they finally didn't have Florida in their path this year, so it was kind of meant to be for them.

Like you, yeah, I've enjoyed seeing all the stuff online of them celebrating and partying, and it's been fun to watch.

It looks like the Cup's taken a beating, though.

It does every year, but especially this year.

I saw that the other day.

I think I saw them coming out of like a bar or something.

And like the cup was just, it was an absolute mess.

I mean, fair play to whoever hammers that back into shape each year.

But man, it was just, yeah, it's been absolutely battered.

I've just loved all of the, they are really milking this Rod Brindamore's physique.

I mean, the guy's in great shape.

I'll give him that.

He's an absolute unit.

But yeah, obviously we had the parade the other day, Nick Delorier signing his new contract on the spot, which again was a very Sam Bennett-y move.

But yeah, I'm excited to see what this Carolina team can do moving forward.

I think they've got all the pieces together to put together a really long run.

They've got guys locked up long term.

They've got all the pieces for sustained success.
