How about that? turning into proper professionals at this now but yeah we're coming to you post game two of the sunny cup finals we're going to recap these two games we're going to touch on some news as well before we leave you so do you want to hit his off nice and early
Yeah, I mean, what a start it's been to the Stanley Cup final.
I think whilst a lot of people obviously were...
Both surprised, frustrated, annoyed that Vegas had got to the cup final.
I think what it did guarantee us with the way that they play, with the way that Carolina play, was that we were going to get a really, really interesting matchup between two teams that play kind of similar styles of hockey.
Neither team is like an offensive juggernaut or like just a defensive shutdown team.
They both do everything quite well.
And that's exactly what we've seen.
And I've been surprised a little bit at the scorelines.
I mean, it wasn't necessarily a cup final that I was expecting loads of goals in.
But here we are, two games in, 16 goals across the first two games.
The Golden Knights taking game one on the road against the Carolina Hurricanes in a 5-4 win.
before the Hurricanes pulled one back, 4-3 in overtime.
Seth Jarvis with the OT winning goal there to tie the series up at one.
I mean, Nathaniel, this has been absolutely blockbuster hockey.
Everything that we could have wanted from a Stanley Cup final so far.
Sign me up for another five games.
Yeah, they're both just very gritty, gritty teams, aren't they? We mentioned it last week, how...
Neither of these teams have really blown the doors off any teams this year.
They've just been going about their business.
Obviously, Vegas had a slower regular season.
But throughout these playoffs, they've been top class, top quality.
This is best on best.
It's great watch.
Great watches, really.
