Episode #450 PeaceWorks Live Review

That's the hardest thing to do, I think, friends, is to define what God is doing.

I mean, we could easily say that there's energy, there's movement, there's momentum, um, there's resistance.

But how we define it, I, I don't know.

But, but I can tell you this.

God's people, as they gather, um, unified in the gospel and the purpose, will not be deterred, uh, will not be distracted.

It's an interesting reality, friends, and here's what I mean by that.

A group of people from around North America, uh, gathered in little, tiny Winfield, West Virginia.

Um, Winfield has, um... is a small town.

I, I think there's about 2,500 people in Winfield.

It's the county seat for my county, so it's actually one of the larger communities.

Um, but nonetheless, a small town in a small state.

Uh, and yet all of these people gathered from California and Colorado, Texas, and Ontario, Florida, Montreal.

Uh, for what purpose? To learn? Sure.

I think that was part of it.

We had a great lineup of speakers and people that, that we brought in and, and support and love as part of the team.

Um, that, that starts with my friend Greg Wilson, who's been part of PeaceWorks Live since the very beginning.

Our worship leader, Adam Westlake, who is a staple at our events, who just, just very patiently and kindly leads us in worship, friends.

I'll tell you, Adam has a simplicity of approach.

Uh, the Word of God instructs us, um, in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and, uh, Adam just follows that pattern.

He just reads God's Word over us, invites us to sing it with him, um, then a more structured song of significance and theology, and then, uh, a song of praise.

Brad Hambrick joined us this year.

This was Brad's first PeaceWork- PeaceWorks Live, uh, along with Rookie, uh, the wonder dog, uh, Rookie the Corgi.

You can find him on social media.

Uh, Rookie was definitely a fan favorite.

I, uh, honestly was, like, a little nervous.
