Sam and Andy are back to celebrate the Beavers’ first Pac-12 football win and officially tip off the 2026–27 Oregon State basketball preseason! They’re joined by friend of the pod Cam Crowell…
it's a good group of players okay so here we're at going into the season this is what's listed on the website this is the roster you'll have You'll have Jemai Lake, state champion, the only player.
I kind of consider him a returner.
I know he's a high school kid, but he's directly related to Josiah Lake, who's our only returner.
Actually, he is not.
And I would say, I mean, he decommitted from Montana to come join Josiah as a beaver and Josiah did not have an offer like
that.
He's very bouncy.
He's kind of like a kind of looks like a deer playing basketball because he's so springy, still skinny.
I think he hadn't settled into like Josiah Lake is really put on weight as he's been in college and got more muscular to my leg.
you know, is a little more wiry than that.
But I think maybe even a springier athlete potentially than Josiah, which is saying something because Josiah Lake is an insane athlete.
Yes.
I mean, like if you are not familiar with him, first of all, watch the latest Oregon
State Championship.
Oh, my God.
The best state championship maybe I've ever seen in my entire life.
one of the cooler finishes to any basketball game, given the circumstances you'll ever see.
Um, but Jemai was probably the best player.
Not probably.
He was the best player on the court in that game.
Yes.
Montoya, for now, we'll see where he's at by the end.
