Erik sits down with Deanna Woodroffe, Owner and Women's Nurse Practitioner, of Vibrant Health of Colorado for an engaging conversation about functional health and the powerful role hormones play in…
Deanna WoodroffeGuestErikHostOkay, let's get a little timely right now, because this is the time of year, if I may generalize, where, and I guess I'm seeing it in my own house, where we have all just finished a summer.
We are all just trying to get back to some semblance of routine, some semblance of normalcy.
And that goes for our mental, our physical, all of our different pieces of health.
I see a lot of people really beat down this time of year.
And you and I chatted about it briefly earlier, is that this is one of those tough times of years where everybody kind of runs themselves ragged.
So my question to you is, how do I stop that? How do I how do I get my wife to run just a little rest rag or even myself? You know, and that's it's I watch us just kind of worn down right now.
So what are some tips, techniques? What are things people feeling and how do I how do I stop that feeling?

And so I think some of it is just getting through the summer when you don't have the same structure and maybe the same time.

I think, you know, we've seen definitely an uptick in patients coming in for their first visit saying, okay, summer's over, I'm ready to start taking care of myself.

So I think we sometimes have to make a conscious decision to do things differently.

I, many months ago, made the decision to take all of my email apps off of my phone because I'm someone that would look at them immediately, respond immediately.

But now they know I'm not going to answer an email until I am in front of my laptop.
