I am often like, uh, wishy-washy liberal in my politics, but I'm often like, I feel like I don't want to talk about them online because I'm not terribly well-informed.

I was like, currently my only position is like, Prince Baylor would not allow this to happen.
That might be a spicy controversial take, but I think I would rather.
experts in opinion.
I

I'm sort of like, I hope that I'm always like clear where I stand morally.

And yeah, sometimes I will have the storybook thought of Prince Baylor, Aslan, someone come help.

But I also understand that readers, i'll look up to writers in some cases like you want to be sure that someone's not a huge jerk because we've seen what writers turn out to be and so i think that that you get asked about that kind of thing because people are like listen sorry are you secretly evil and i'm like
yes but i hope in the the cool stylish and not horrendous way the cool stylish not horrendous or morally bankrupt way there's a way it's called edgy morally edgy people
right
But when it comes to politics, I do try to bring brevity to my friends sometimes because we are living in a very conflagrated time.
And it can be really frustrating when you're looking at anybody who you seem to like, you enjoy, you look up to online, you know, you want to connect with them a little bit more deeply.
And then I remind them that I talk to authors all the time and that they're all collectively pretty great people.
But they write about fairies fucking each other and they're probably not the source for news or information.
