Mark TrencherHostspeaker_3HostNo matter what level of observance you have religiously, the entire country celebrates the Chagim together, and each holiday starts significantly earlier than the actual [laughs] holiday.
So, like, let's say for, um, Hanukkah, you're gonna start seeing donuts in the bakeries six to eight weeks in advance.
And for Purim, like, the entire month of Adar, the Jewish month of Adar, is celebrating Purim.
Like, the, my kids in the ganim, in the younger schools, they're, they're having costume parties and it's all month.
And on, o- on Pesach, we went on Hol Hamoed, we went to, um, visit a park, and I remember sitting with my husband at a table, and this woman at another table w- I couldn't tell if she was observant or not.
They were also there s- with their family, and she took out a box of matzah, and I remember, like, my jaw [laughs] like dropping because it was such a surprise.
