It can be the spark that just adds a little bit more of that emotional connection, which you weren't even thinking that that's going to happen when you have a role play date.

And we just wanted something out there that was way more than just, dress up as a naughty maid and seduce your spouse.

And I think also this is a great way to recognize like just because you have like a fantasy of some sort doesn't mean you want it in real life.

Like if your partner comes over to you and says something, that doesn't mean that I'm going to go dress up in a naughty maid French costume and seduce a stranger in a hotel.

yes and uh but that's a very unique your response i feel like was was pretty unique i think a lot of women would have actually become either triggered in some manner because it only triggers you when you know it's it's there's some truth beneath the surface there like you're only triggered when you're defensive about something or you kind of just slough it off and like you're ridiculous we're you're my husband and we don't need that kind of silliness in our relationship, something like that.

And then I would just wonder, you know, so quite often in relationships, whether it's the man to the wife or the woman to the man saying, you know, I need more, or I want more, I want this thing to be more exciting.

And I'm not condoning, God forbid he were to go out and cheat, but, But, you know, men that are saying these things to their wives at times like, hey, I need this.

I think it can feel really damaging when that happens to the man because you're putting yourself out there and vice versa.

Like I put myself out there like I was crazy vulnerable, right? He had no idea that I was going to show up in this little cute get up and he just rolled with it.

So if you find yourself in that conversation, I think one way to be is just to get curious when you're in that conversation, allow yourself to like wonder what that, what he's trying to say or what you're trying to say.

If you allow curiosity to lead a conversation, you're going to get so much more, you know, so much further than just feeling defensive or content.

Like it's just going to allow the conversation to evolve better and more like constructive as well.
