Self-care podcast exploring Ways Being an Empath Triggers Emotional Eating, Addressing Taking on Everyone's "Stuff" & Managing Being an Empath to Overcome Emotional Eating. TOPICS:: \** Ways Being…
I'm your host, Amber Romaniuk, emotional eating, digestive, and hormone expert with over 13 years of experience helping thousands of professional and high-achieving women globally create hormone balance, food, and body freedom for life.
And if you've ever been told your hormones are normal, but you still feel exhausted, inflamed, or like something's off in your body, you feel completely like your body has changed overnight and you don't feel like yourself anymore or even recognize your body the way you used to, you've been dismissed by doctors, or you've been trying to get answers and keep being told everything is fine, and you're a high achiever who is constantly putting herself last, running on empty, and struggling with food, cravings, weight, or your health behind the scenes, I want you to know you're not alone.
In my work, I help women uncover what's actually driving these symptoms, the emotional binge eating cycles, hidden hormone imbalances, digestive dysfunction, burnout, nervous system dysregulation, and the deeper emotional and behavioral patterns that keep them stuck in the same cycles for years, sometimes decades, without being able to break free.
Together, we bring clarity to what is actually happening in your body with your self-worth, your mindset, your hormones, your nervous system, stress response, gut health, and the emotional patterns you've been carrying for years.
I have had so many conversations with women, whether it's in consultation, in coaching, just observing people around me, that are empaths.
And empaths can be a lot to carry when you feel everyone's stuff and you do or don't know how to manage it.
So I wanted to have a conversation today about being an empath and how it can actually become an emotional eating trigger.
This is one of my biggest triggers to heal at the tail end of my emotional eating.
And even if you're not an emotional eater, being an empath and then suppressing with alcohol, with scrolling, with TV, with people pleasing, and overbooking, there's many ways that we can, you know, get overwhelmed with carrying the weight of the world or the weight of others, and it's not your responsibility to be carrying and processing everything for everyone else.
But as an empath, and, like most human beings who, like want the best for humanity, are empaths and care.
So we're gonna dive into that right away, this whole connection between being an empath and emotional eating.
If you're not an emotional eater, how else does being an empath potentially trigger you into other forms of numbing or self-sabotage? Then we're gonna look at, you know, why we take on everyone's stuff, 'cause we don't wanna do that.
And how do we manage being an empath and heal our relationship with food? So it's gonna be a great episode.
