Cheralyn DarceyHostWell the way I see it is this year we are in a one year in a nine year cycle and it is what they call a fire horse.
Now I always see horses as symbolic of freedom and fire is the energy of transmutation so a lot of the energy this year is about how can we find our freedom for this next nine year cycle and what is it inside us that needs to change and So I believe this year is about releasing limitations in our thoughts and our beliefs.
You know, old wounds, abandonment, betrayal, abuse, all the things that we've worked through.
And this is the closing of the karmic cycle because many of your listeners will have done lots of introspection, probably lots of meditation.
And they'll be seeing that they are in a place where maybe things are being triggered this year, so all of their hurts and wounds.
And this year is about how can you free yourself and how can you approach it from a different perspective as the adult and as the one who wants peace and harmony.

Let's talk about karma then, because when this word comes up, people often use that word when they think someone's getting what they deserve.
No, I feel karma is more of a what is put in process comes to a conclusion or what's put in action.
So oftentimes in our lives, things get started for us and it's our job to work through that.
So my view of karma is, you know, what's the work that you've done and are you yourself being rewarded for the hard work that you've done to overcome things?

Susie, when someone feels they're facing the same lesson though over and over again, how would you encourage them to explore that without blaming themselves for everything that's happened?
It's the observing the situation and saying what's the common thread and what's the default position that you're taking.
And a lot of people do take the default position of I must be wrong or it must be my fault.
And yet if they can step back and be curious, they could say, well, you know, maybe mum was having a hard time.
