I would have thought we were at that tick in the box.

It was a tick in the box.

Yeah, and I would have thought that too.

I would have thought that the platforms, and again, I'm not saying that all platforms, so I want to be very careful to say for the listeners to understand that this is where I want them to do their due diligence.

Just because a tick appears does not mean that that person is a real person.

And, you know, and I suppose, and we've spoken about this before, so I online date as an older Australian, and that is to learn the tactics and the mechanisms that scammers use.

So one of my profiles has a verified tick.

But that's not my face.

How

easy was that for you to get that tick? Because we always think that's a very hard process to go through.

Well, I was a movement, I should say, not a real person.

I didn't have to show that I was a real person.

But that I moved, that my face moved in the process, that verified me as being a, and I'm doing the inverted commas here, a person.

So a scammer can do that because a scammer is a real person.

Wow.

The photo is just stolen, but the scammer is a real person.

So that's where I have a self-verified tick on my dating profile and Again, and I need to ensure that listeners understand, I don't online date with people.

So, you know, mine, it's all about just engaging with scammers.
