Three weeks into September, I am sharing the practical talk I delivered at the Wirral Wellness Festival on how to stop relying on motivation and instead systemise your health, fitness and wellbeing…

But I promise to deliver not only some value for today, ladies, but some real takeaways because when it comes to health, fitness, making it a lifestyle, okay, this, this overused term, I know I use it all of the time.

How do we make it a lifestyle? How do we actually become the woman who identifies as the healthiest version of myself? A lot of it just comes down to what we're doing in the day-to-day.

But then we've got to forget about that, and we've got to think about and break down, what do I actually need to do on a daily basis? What does the roadmap look like to get to my goal? So I know where I want to get to.

I know the energy, the confidence, the dress size, the performance levels, the way in which I think, the self-talk.

But what, what has got to happen on a daily basis in order for me to move in that direction? Because the goal really, when it comes to your health and fitness, it's not a destination.

But there's a direction, there's a clear direction on a daily basis which we're moving towards, and we're either going one step closer to our goal or we're taking ourselves one step further away.

And I've said this to a client this week in a check-in, is that that's how I want you to think about it on a daily basis, because it's the micro day-to-day that get you to where you want to be.

Just like it's the micro day-to-day that all of a sudden seem to compound and before you know it, your weight's gone up, your fitness levels have plummeted, you haven't been to the gym for three weeks and you're back relying on wine to de-stress before you even realize it.

It was one episode of negative self-talk that led to self-sabotaging behaviors and before we know it, we compound in either direction.

So how do we get on course to compound in the direction of this better version of ourselves, this healthy, happy, thriving version of ourselves? Well, we're gonna break it down because we need to differentiate, and this is something that I said at the talk on Saturday.

We need to differentiate between- motivation and those feelings of like, right, I'm on it.

I've got everything planned because we love that feeling, don't we? We love that feeling of being motivated.

So we listen to the podcasts and we save the posts on Instagram and we share the quotes with our friends and like it gives us that fire in our belly.

But what do we do on the days when we don't feel motivated? In my experience, these are the days that count.
