Stop Trying Harder: The Simple September Fat Loss Reset for Women in Their 40s (Boundaries, Protein & Training Smarter) In this episode of The Fit and Unfiltered Podcast, I am sharing feeling…
Nicola GrahamHost
I've had a new client sign up this week to one-to-one coaching, and as you know, I work with a very limited number of women one-to-one because we get into the weeds.

I do not miss a beat when it comes to activities, appointments, things that my kids need, places they need to be, anything for them.

But I have struggled for as long as I can remember to manage my own health and fitness to get in shape.

I'm ready to understand some of these habits and behaviors that I'm clearly in.

And no matter how many times I recommit to the next six weeks or things are gonna be different this time or I'm definitely gonna have discipline, I just can't do it.

I just can't stick it out and I need to understand why." And my reading of that was I need to understand the psyche behind the plan because you don't need a new plan, ladies.

9 times out of 10, the plan does not need to be chopped and changed by the minute.

I think what you actually need is the ability to be able to stay consistent for long enough for the plan to work.

But we also need to understand more of the identity work, more of the mindset, more of the staying in our own lane, more of the clarity.

And if you are a woman in your 40s, pushing harder is absolutely not gonna be the strategy for you right now.

By the end of today's episode, I want you to understand why trying harder is really not the best option going into this new season, new phase, new month ahead, last quarter of the year, but more specifically how to fix it.

And so ladies, if you've ever felt as though you're doing all of the things, you're showing up for your training sessions, you are keeping your calories low, you genuinely are lost at where you're going wrong.

In your mind, it's the odd glass of wine, it's the odd meal, but surely that can't be sabotaging everything.
