We talked about the, uh, Christa Pike case a, a whole bunch on Saturday, and I, I've just now once again had something kinda jump out at me that I, I just kinda realized and thought about for the first time about this case.
After briefly opening her eyes, she mumbled, 'Ouch.'" Now, of course, we've got all the posts and the headlines and the articles about how she's awake now, and she's, you know, semi-functional or conscious or what have you.
I keep seeing these glamour shots of this lady, and I can't figure out, like, why.
Like, prior to being convicted of, like, a satanic pan- and pagan murder, nobody knew who she was, and yet now in, like, every TMZ article about her case and every little Twitter post about her current condition, there's this weird glamour shot that's included of her.
There's more recent ones that I've seen in TMZ where she looks a little older.
W- why? Who is out there doing glamour shots of this lady? It's just weird to me.
It feels like a, a kind of example of how our society has kind of reached the point of, like, glorifying almost murderers, like violent, evil criminals.
Like, it's not like they're going back and pulling old pictures from before she did some heinous thing.
Anyway, um, I, I think it's worth pointing out some, uh, some where good-- r- rare good news on the justice front.
