Now, to lay the land, we have three IMAX screens in my town, one of which is 70 millimeter.
Now, granted, I'm going later at night, so you would think, okay, if you're elderly, you may not be out at 10 p.m. or 10.30 to start a three-hour movie.
I was really impressed by the number of teens and 20-somethings who were there.
And I think that says something about Christopher Nolan as a brand, that he occupies a rare air and maybe even a unique space in terms of generating interest for whatever he does, to the point where a group of young men walking out behind me were talking to each other and kind of high-fiving because they had seen the movie back-to-back.
They had gone to consecutive shows and were emerging at the end of seven hours in the theater.
And I'm like, there's no other guy on this planet that could get people to do that.
So today I saw it, like I said, I was in the front street, but there was no other seats available.
