So we'll start by asking you, Melanie, do you do radio adverts and use your own voice or do you use someone else's voice that's local?

Well, as you know, and you pointed out not that long ago, I have done radio ads in the past.

And so there's no point in me getting an Irish actor to speak for me and then I sound completely different.

It has, however... meant that I can very rarely work for a client or do stuff for them unless I'm doing it with them.

So if somebody said to me, oh, I'd love some help with doing video recordings or doing reels or something like that, and we would love for you to manage it for us.

the minute they hear my voice, they know I can't do it because I'm not representing, you know, the Irish culture in the right way.

So what I have done in the past and this great experience with being a journalist is I've, being the person to ask the questions so that the focus isn't just on somebody standing there, because we've both done it.

You think, what am I meant to say? But if you've got somebody feeding you questions, even if they're off camera, It makes it easier to talk to them than to just stand there like a lemon and wonder what to say next.
