Alright, so Old Dominion goes to one and one after they lose the Virginia Tech 44 to 21.
Where do we start here? Do we want to start with the optimism or the pessimism? Because obviously we need to talk about some of the issues we saw yesterday.
I mean, get the issues out first, right? And then talk about the positives.
That's what I would prefer.
So I'm going to start on the offensive side.
We saw this issue against Norfolk State to an extent, and it got really illuminated yesterday in our ability to run block.
And it kind of leaked over into the passing game yesterday and led to some mistakes.
We ended up with three fumbles on the day.
We got to figure out this offensive line.
It's not good enough right now.
Yeah, last week I remember saying something to the fact of if we were in second and 13 and third and 11 repeatedly against this Brent Pride defense, then things were probably going to get nasty and seven sacks and 14 tackles for losses later.
I mean, I guess congratulations to me for something that I was desperately hoping and being wrong at.
I'm right there with you, Aaron.
I...
It's something like way back when we talked about in the spring, right? Like it was my primary concern was offensive line.
I thought we would be good enough.
Like we weren't like dominating them, so to speak.
And I was hoping that it was just kind of rust guys, you know, playing together for the first time in a real game situation, et cetera.
But yeah, the offensive line was not
Positive, we're not going to see a Kamari Copeland again on the rest of our schedule.
I think that's positive.
It was a concern I had going into the game.
