I know that it's so easy to feel, you know, every once in a while pulled somewhere else.
What should I be posting tomorrow? Should I be getting back to those emails? What should the next podcast recording look like when I get home? You feeling of needing to keep producing, to keep thinking about what's next.
And this morning, sitting here, while everyone is off doing their thing, I'm realizing this.
I wanted afternoons where my husband could spend his birthday golfing with our son or girls, whoever, whatever, and knowing that work wasn't running our life.
And it made me stop and ask myself a question that I think we all need to ask more often.
why you're doing the thing? Why you're doing all of it in the first place? Not a surface level answer.
