Most people think they're training hard... The reality is they're usually at one of two extremes Either they're not training hard enough to force their body to change... Or they're training so hard…
But anyhow, today's podcast episode, training intensity.
How hard do you really need to train to get results? so one of the biggest things that i try and establish with clients usually within about the first 30 days which is really really important once a client has started the plan once we've done a couple of weeks of just getting used to the structure the training routine the food system etc then it's about right how do we make sure that we are applying the right training intensity to get really good results because there's two things that I see.
There are guys that are not training hard enough.
They think they're training hard, but they're not training hard enough to elicit a muscle building response or to burn body fat.
And then on the flip side, there are guys that are training way too hard and they're not able to recover from the session.
So they are overtraining.
So the two biggest things that I see are undertraining and overtraining.
So what I want to do in this podcast is ultimately help you decide what's going to be the best training intensity.
to actually maximize your results.
So I want to break this down into three groups.
We've got beginners, we've got intermediates, and then we've got people that are advanced.
So a beginner is somebody that is new to training or somebody that hasn't trained for years.
