They help us move beyond simply existing and invite us to truly appreciate the miracle of being alive.

So often we become busy with daily responsibilities and forget to notice the countless blessings that surround us.

The breath moving gently through our body, the warmth of the sun, the beauty of the rain, the beauty of nature itself, the smile of a friend, the love of family or the opportunity to learn, grow and become more of who we truly are.

Yet when we pause for a moment and begin to appreciate these things, something beautiful happens within us.

Our spirit feels lighter and we become aware that life is already overflowing with blessings.

One of the greatest misunderstandings about gratitude is that many people believe they must wait until something wonderful happens before they can be grateful.

When we become grateful for the good already present in our lives, we begin to see more good.

When we appreciate what we have, we become more aware of the abundance surrounding us.

Love is expressed naturally through kindness, generosity, compassion, patience, honesty, understanding and joy.
