Courage is such an interesting word because we often associate it with people doing extraordinary things, climbing Mount Everest, jumping out of airplanes, rescuing somebody from a burning building.

However, some of the most courageous moments in our lives can look completely ordinary from the outside.

Beginning something completely new when you have absolutely no idea whether it's going to work.

Or saying yes to an opportunity with your mind immediately producing a beautifully organized PowerPoint presentation explaining everything that could possibly go wrong.

There were risks, unknowns, successes, mistakes, extraordinary experiences, and probably some hairstyles that required considerably more courage than anything else.

Long drives where there were no petrol stations in the Aussie desert to get to a gig in Mount Isa.
